Privacy Policy

Effective September 15, 2026

In short: your battery readings and charging-test history stay on your device. Amptiq has no account, cloud storage, or developer analytics. Google AdMob handles the limited data needed to provide ads.

Who we are

Amptiq (Android package com.amptiq.app) is provided by MAI Coders. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to maicoders101@gmail.com.

Data kept on your device

Amptiq reads information reported by Android to show and compare charging performance, including:

This information is processed and stored locally. We do not receive it, and Amptiq does not send battery readings, saved tests, or charger and cable names to advertisers. If you export a backup or report, you choose where it goes and are responsible for that copy.

Advertising

Amptiq uses Google AdMob to fund the app. A small banner may appear on the Live, Compare, and History screens. One full-screen ad may appear after a naturally completed test is saved. Ads do not appear during an active test.

Google’s advertising service may collect or share an IP address (which can indicate a general area), app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or advertising identifiers. Google uses this information for advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention and says it is encrypted while being sent.

Where consent is required, Amptiq asks before requesting ads. Your choice may result in personalized, non-personalized, limited, or basic ads. Refusing personalized advertising does not disable Amptiq’s core features. Google and the current advertising partners are identified in the consent form.

Why data is used

Local battery data is used only to provide the features you request. Advertising data is used to provide and measure ads and keep advertising secure. Where the law requires consent, advertising storage, identifiers, and personalization are based on your choice; necessary security and fraud prevention may be handled as permitted by law. Amptiq does not make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Storage, deletion, and transfers

Local test data remains until you delete it in Amptiq Settings, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app. Exported files must be deleted from the location you selected. Google keeps advertising data under its own retention rules and may process it outside your country using the safeguards described in its policy.

Your choices and rights

When required in your region, Settings → Privacy choices lets you review or withdraw your advertising choice. Android settings also let you reset or delete the advertising ID.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal data; withdraw consent; opt out of targeted advertising or qualifying data sharing; and complain to your local privacy authority. Amptiq does not sell your battery data or saved tests. Because we do not receive your local app data, you control it directly on your device. Contact us for other requests and contact Google for data controlled by Google.

Children

Amptiq is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age in their country. We do not knowingly collect a child’s personal information. Please contact us if you believe this has occurred.

Security and changes

Amptiq keeps charging history in the app’s private local storage and disables Android cloud backup for that data. No method is completely secure. We may update this policy if the app, its providers, or legal requirements change. The new effective date will appear here.
