Privacy Policy
Flocktale · Effective September 11, 2026
Flocktale is a children-friendly sorting game. It does not ask for a name, email address, account, exact location, photos, contacts, camera, or microphone. Game progress stays on the device. The game uses Google AdMob to show child-appropriate, non-personalized ads.
Information kept on the device
Flocktale saves only the information needed to remember the game:
- completed levels, stars, and unlocked rewards;
- chosen birds and their appearance;
- music and sound settings; and
- basic ad timing, used to avoid showing too many ads.
This information is not sent to the Flocktale developer. It can be removed by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app. A device backup service may keep a copy if backups are enabled on the device.
Advertising
Flocktale uses Google AdMob. Google may receive an internet address, a broad area based on that address, basic app and device information, a limited app or device identifier, app launches, ad views or taps, and information about how well the app and ads are working. Google uses this information to deliver ads, count them, improve reliability, and prevent fraud.
Every ad request is marked for child treatment and asks for a non-personalized ad suitable for a general audience. Ads are not chosen from a child's past activity. Flocktale does not request Android's advertising identifier and does not use a separate analytics service.
Ad information is handled by Google under the Google Privacy Policy and Google's information for apps that use its services. Google may process information in countries other than the user's country.
Choices
Where privacy choices are required, they can be opened from the game's Settings screen. Rewarded ads are optional. Choosing not to watch one does not block normal play.
Sharing and selling
The Flocktale developer does not sell personal information. Information is shared only with Google as described above, or if required by law or needed to protect users and the service.
Children's privacy
Flocktale is designed to avoid collecting personal information from children. There is no chat, account, social sharing, or place to enter personal details. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information, please contact us so it can be investigated and removed.
Security
Game progress is protected by the device's app storage. Information sent to Google for advertising is encrypted while it travels between the device and Google. No method is perfect, but reasonable safeguards are used.
How long information is kept
Local game information remains until the app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled, subject to any device backups. Google keeps advertising information according to its own privacy policy. Flocktale may keep combined, non-personal reports for business records, fraud prevention, and legal duties.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the game changes or the law requires it. The new version will appear on this page with a new effective date.
